This hemp protein powder is made by cold-pressing whole, raw, hemp seeds; a process which separates the seed from the oil to leave behind a dry, cake-like substance. This cake is then cold-milled further to produce a concentrated source of protein in powder form.
Hemp seeds contain all the 21 amino acids and, as a plant-based source of protein, stands out for being especially easy for the body to digest and absorb. It is also a rich source of B vitamins, dietary minerals such as manganese, phosphorous, magnesium, zinc, iron, and both soluble and insoluble dietary fiber.
