This organic avocado oil starts with cold pressing, meaning the oil is mechanically extracted from Hass avocados at controlled temperatures below 50°C. No chemical solvents are used in the pressing step. After extraction, the oil is refined. Refining gently filters and purifies the oil to remove strong flavors, pigments, and natural residues. This step creates a cleaner taste, lighter aroma, and much higher smoke point while keeping the oil’s core fatty acid profile intact. The result is a neutral, high-heat cooking oil that performs well in everyday kitchens. With a smoke point around 516°F, it is well suited for sautéing, roasting, searing, and baking without overpowering your food. If you prefer avocado oil’s stability but not its grassy flavor, refined is the better choice. Naturally free of cholesterol due to its plant origin. Rich in monounsaturated oleic acid, the same omega-9 fatty acid found in olive oil, along with vitamin E and a balanced fatty acid profile.
