What to expect on your first visit
If you have never shopped at a refill store, don’t worry about doing it right. Here’s the whole routine:
1. Walk in and say hi
Our team will show you around and answer any questions. No pressure to know what you’re doing, and no wrong way to shop.
2. Browse the shelves
Browse pantry staples, fresh local produce, and home + body refills throughout the store. Most items are sold by weight or volume, so you can buy as little or as much as you need.
3. Bring a container, or borrow one
Bring a clean container from home, or borrow a free sanitized jar from our community jar shelf when we have one. If you’re not sure what size you need, we’re happy to help you choose.
4. Refill with help or on your own
We’ll walk you through it if it’s your first time. Most food refills are filled for you at the counter, while many home + body refills are self-serve. For the full step-by-step routine, see how to refill here.
A couple of things you only get in person
Step into a store without synthetic smells
One of the first things new visitors notice is how different the store smells from a conventional grocery or home store. No fragrance aisle, no heavy cleaning chemical smell, just the quieter smell of real food and real ingredients.
Pick the right container with us
Not sure what size jar you need for a pound of oats or a refill of dish soap? Our community jar shelf is right there, and we’re happy to help match the container to what you’re taking home.
Build your shopping list before you come

Getting here
By car
Free street parking along Underwood Avenue in front of the shop and on the adjacent side streets, with no meters. Dundee is a walkable commercial district, so if the spots right out front are taken, you’ll usually find one within a block.
If you’d rather park in a lot, there’s a paid lot at the iHeart Radio station about a block away.
By bike
Our bike rack is right out front, next to the public bench. Plenty of folks also lock up against our pergola columns or leave their bike parked in front of the shop. Our big windows make it easy to keep an eye on things while you browse. Dundee is a bike-friendly neighborhood with easy routes from midtown and downtown Omaha.
By ORBT, on foot through Dundee
Step off ORBT at the Dundee station and take the quiet walk down 49th Street.
From the ORBT stop at 49th & Dodge, head south on 49th Street a couple of blocks until you hit Underwood, then turn right. The shop is less than a block west at 4914 Underwood. The whole walk is short, shaded, and genuinely pretty, lined with the brick houses, porches, and old trees that give Dundee its feel.
Coming soon: a new neighborhood project along 50th Street will turn that parallel block into a walk worth lingering on, too.
Accessibility
The shop is wheelchair accessible. There’s a small threshold at the front door that wheelchair users will need to cross, and we’re actively working on a smoother long-term solution. If you’d like a hand on the way in or out, just wave and we’ll come help.
Accessible parking spots are located along Underwood Avenue within half a block of the shop. Map coming soon.
