Made in Nablus, Palestine, these soaps come from one of the longest continuously operating soapmaking families in the world. The Tbeleh family has worked in Nabulsi soap production since 1611 and is especially known for the highly specialized craft of cutting soap. Within the region, the expert cutter is still colloquially referred to as “the Tbeleh guy.”
Pure olive oil soap from Nablus is often described as the first bathing soap. It is widely known for its longevity, gentle cleansing, and versatility, suitable for face, body, and everyday home cleaning. While European Castile and Marseille soaps were adapted from this tradition over 1,000 years ago, Nabulsi soap never lost touch with its heritage or standards.
All bars are certified organic, halal, and made without fragrance, dyes, or additives.
The Olive (al-Zaytoon)
The most traditional expression of Nabulsi soap, made entirely with certified organic olive oil. Firm, long-lasting, and intentionally simple, this bar reflects the original formulation used in Nablus for centuries.
The Almond (al-Lauwz)
This variation adjusts the traditional formula to include 7% almond oil and 93% olive oil, creating a naturally subtle, nutty scent without added fragrance. In the region, this style is often referred to as Antakian soap, named for the historic Turkish city known for its almond oil.
Packaging: Wrapped in a heavier paper material that is harder to recycle curbside. We accept returns to ensure proper handling through specialty recycling streams.
