Taylor’s Naturals

Taylor’s Naturals manufactures products under the Balm! Baby and Elevated brand names, along with their RAW Materials line. Taylor’s Naturals was one of the original personal care brands stocked at Exist Green and helped shape Leigh’s, the store owner’s, early transition into clean personal care products in the early 2010s. Their focus on quality, transparency, sustainability, and zero waste continues to align closely with how personal care products are evaluated in the store.

Family owned and operated, Taylor’s Naturals began in California, expanded in Hawaii, and is now based in Arizona. Products are hand-crafted in small batches using high quality plant-based ingredients, with oils infused in-house. Exist Green carries items from their Balm! Baby, Elevated, and RAW Materials lines.

The company follows Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and has maintained consistent production standards for more than 15 years, prioritizing freshness, consistency, and quality control.

Formulas are vegan, Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and made without synthetic binders. Most ingredients are organic, and all ingredient lists clearly identify which components are certified organic. Products are gluten and wheat free, which is especially important in a gluten-free shop environment.

Formulation Notes

Because these products rely on natural butters and herbal infusions rather than stabilizing synthetics, texture may shift with temperature changes. Balms can develop small “gritty” grains after heating and cooling cycles, and dark specks may appear from whole-herb infusions. These variations are normal and reflect the absence of synthetic binders.

Cleansers use simple plant-based ingredients. Sunscreen formulas are mineral-based, water-resistant, and lip-safe, formulated to an SPF 30 target range. As a small company, they do not conduct large-scale third-party SPF certification testing.

Packaging & Refill at Exist Green

Packaging is designed to avoid plastic wherever possible, using metal and glass containers. Many products are sold in reusable glass containers that can be repurposed or refilled with other products in the store.

Select Taylor’s Naturals products are available in bulk as part of the buy-just-what-you-need refill system. While there is not currently a closed-loop return program with this brand, many bulk products arrive in reusable glass jugs and other containers are responsibly recycled. Customers can refill these products into their own reusable containers, significantly reducing single-use packaging.

The store continues to encourage expanded closed-loop options with this brand as the partnership evolves.
