Linden, Leaf and Flower, Dried
$3.50 / oz (~$5.8/cup)
Beloved tea flower with honey-like sweetness. Traditionally valued for restful sleep, easing tension, and heart comfort.
Botanical Name: Tilia sp.
Origin: Albania
Linden comes from the fragrant flowers and leaves of the linden tree (Tilia species), which blooms in early summer with soft yellow-white blossoms that attract pollinators. Leaf and flower are often blended together and commonly used for linden tea, tinctures, and gentle herbal blends.
Found in both Europe and North America, linden has a long history in traditional herbal and cultural use. Its lightly floral aroma has also made it a favorite for perfumery and honey production, thanks to the nectar-rich flowers loved by bees.
For tea: 5-10 mins, 200°F, 1-2 tsp dried flowers per 8 oz water
