Mullein, Dried, US Grown
$4.00 / oz (~$5/cup)
traditional respiratory herb found across many cultures.
Organic | Kosher
origin: USA
This US grown mullein leaf comes from a farm in the Pacific Northwest. Mullein is a familiar sight across much of the United States, where it naturalizes easily in open fields and along roadsides. Even when cultivated, the leaf keeps the same soft, velvety texture and mild, earthy aroma that make it a classic choice for herbal teas and simple steams.
Commonly brewed in teas and used in steams during seasonal changes and colder months. The dried leaf brews into a gentle, mellow tea on its own and blends smoothly with other botanicals. It can also be tinctured or infused into honey for traditional herbal preparations.
Precautions: Fine leaf hairs may be irritating if not strained well.
Steep as an herbal tea, blend into warm infusions, or use in basic herbal steams.
For tea: 10-20 mins, 200°F, 1-2 tsp dried leaves or flowers per 8 oz water
