Carina Organics Unscented Mineral Salt Spray Deodorant uses potassium alum, the same mineral salt used in crystal rock deodorants, but in a convenient liquid spray. When you mist it on, the water evaporates and leaves a thin, invisible layer of mineral salt on the skin’s surface, which discourages odor‑causing bacteria while still allowing your body to sweat normally.
Conventional aluminum antiperspirants use smaller, more reactive aluminum salts (like aluminum chlorohydrate) that are designed to move into the top of the sweat duct and react with sweat to form a gel‑like plug, which reduces how much sweat can reach the skin. This product does not work that way, it does not contain those antiperspirant‑type aluminum salts and is not formulated to block sweat.
It’s a good fit for someone who likes the feel of crystal deodorant in a spray format and wants simple, unscented odor control. It is not the right choice for anyone who prefers to avoid aluminum in all forms.
TIP: Spray on feet to eliminate food odor
Pump 4 to 6 sprays under each arm. If an irritation or rash develops, discontinue use. If the sprayer becomes clogged, rinse with hot water.
