Organic whole raw almonds with a fuller flavor, slightly smaller shape, and darker skin than Nonpareil almonds.
California-grown almonds labeled “raw” must be pasteurized. These are briefly steam pasteurized without propylene oxide (PPO), preserving the familiar flavor and texture of raw almonds. They can still be soaked and sprouted, but they behave differently from truly raw almonds and may soften without developing a visible nub or sprout tail.
Processing: Flash steam pasteurized, PPO-free
