Copper Scrubbers
These reusable scouring pads are made from 100% copper mesh, not copper-plated steel or plastic-backed fibers. That difference matters. Copper-plated scrubbers can wear down over time, exposing harder materials underneath, which can increase the chance of scratching stainless steel and other surfaces. Solid copper mesh remains consistent throughout the life of the scrubber, providing effective cleaning without unnecessary abrasion.
Copper offers a unique balance of being firm enough to remove stuck-on food, grease, and grime, while still being softer than steel. These pads work well on durable surfaces such as stainless steel cookware, bakeware, sinks, stovetops, grill grates, and other metal surfaces. They are also useful for removing light rust from items like tools or bike parts.
Copper is naturally resistant to rusting and splintering, unlike steel wool, which helps extend the usable life of the scrubber and makes it more comfortable to use by hand. Copper also has naturally antimicrobial properties, meaning it is less prone to harboring odors between uses when properly rinsed and dried.
Washable and long-lasting, these scouring pads are a plastic-free alternative to disposable sponges and synthetic scrubbers.
