Most pumpkin seeds on the market are grown overseas—but not these. Grown in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, this unique hulless Kakai variety was brought to life by Hummingbird Wholesale in partnership with small regional farmers. Their work supports regenerative practices and brings seed production closer to home, from Oregon farms to our shelves here in Omaha.
These raw pumpkin seeds have a fresh, lightly nutty flavor and are packed with plant-based protein, vitamin E, magnesium, zinc, and iron.
Use Ideas: Add to salads, stir into oats or yogurt, bake into granola or cookies, or enjoy as a roasted snack.
To Roast: Toss with a little oil and salt (or spices of your choice) and bake at 300°F for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden and fragrant.
