Nicknamed “Golden Rose,” it’s cultivated in Northern California’s upper Sacramento Valley, where nutrient-rich soils and pristine waters from the Shasta Trinity Alps support healthy, vibrant crops. The rice matures naturally in the field, drying down to about 18% moisture, which promotes full kernel development and minimizes immature grains.

Stored in its protective husk until milling, this rice retains maximum freshness. The grains are nearly round, and when cooked, they cling together—perfect for dishes that need a tender, cohesive texture.
