• 1. Pick your holdStyling gel. Acacia gum and botanical extracts for flexible hold and curl definition, by weight.Hair spray. A refillable mechanical pump, never a pressurized can, with alcohol content disclosed.Leave-in conditioner. Detangling and light styling in one, by weight.Pomade. Plant oils and waxes for shape and shine.Beard balm + mustache wax. Conditioning shape for beards, firmer localized hold for mustaches. Beeswax is always disclosed.
• 2. Refresh + colorDry shampoo. Plant powders and kaolin clay absorb oil between washes, in light and dark shades with a reusable dispenser. Use a small amount: it refreshes, it does not replace washing.Botanical color. Henna, indigo, amla, and cassia, fully disclosed and sold by weight for exactly your hair length. Deposits color and cannot lighten, and results vary with your starting hair. Strand test and patch test first.
• Ties + toolsHair ties. Organic cotton and fair-trade natural rubber (a note for latex-sensitive customers), at more than one price point.Combs, brushes + picks. Bamboo, neem wood, and brass, each chosen for a job: detangling, parting, thick and curly hair, beards.Every component counts. We review pins, cushions, bristles, and finishes, not just the handle.
